Since the age of 13, I’ve been fascinated with the lives of the rich and famous, Hollywood and anybody labelled with the C word. Which one is that you may ask? CELEBRITY!

Growing up in the small city of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, I wasn’t exposed to many famous people, but these days, I seem to have an uncanny ability to bump into them all over South Africa – from the Karoo to Cape Town, where I now live. I have set out to get my hands on as many authentic celebrity autographs to add to my collection – which currently boasts over 5 000 – with the hope of making it into the Guinness Book of Records one day. But while I’ve conquered the South African celeb scene and got up close and personal with many of them, it’s the glamour and lifestyle of Hollywood that I am yet to take on.

Love them or hate them (or love to hate them), there’s something about celebs that keeps us talking. While we all take wicked pleasure in following their drunken exploits, diva moments or exorbitant lifestyles, some also inspire us to strive for greater things; others simply show us how we can add glitz and glam to our own lives. Either way, it’s easy to be fascinated by this larger–than–life world.

I love the world of the fabulously famous, and I thrive on meeting all kinds of celebs and collecting their autographs. All in a day’s work for me! I’ve been fortunate to meet some very special people in my lifetime, and this blog will serve as a platform to share my personal accounts of meeting these stars - whether they’re iconic superstars, divas, trashy wannabes or funky trendsetters - the latest celebrity news and gossip, and my opinion on everything entertainment. My aim is to be at the forefront of entertainment journalism in South Africa, providing you with the latest scoops, so you can share them with other gossip enthusiasts. First stop, South Africa.
